Description

Burundi is located in east Africa; it shares borders with Rwanda, Tanzania, and the Democratic Republic of Congo. This coffee is grown in western Burundi in Kirimiro, a town known for its production of high quality beans. It is processed at the Teka washing station, which is celebrated in the area for its meticulous approach to the processing methods of specialty coffee.

Burundi Kirimiro is made entirely up of the Bourbon varietal. It is harvested at around 2000m; then, the beans are washed and laid out on raised beds to dry under the sunlight.
