Description

This grade-1 coffee comes to us from the south central region of Yirgachefe, specifically from the Gerbota Suka Washing Station. Once the cherry arrives at the washing station, it’s sorted by hand first to separate the less dense cherries. Then, the good cherry is taken and spread onto raised beds to dry under the sun light for about twenty-one days. After the coffee is dried with the cherry still attached (natural processing), it is then milled to remove the husks and transported to the final processing warehouse.

This Ethiopian Heirloom lot is grown and harvested at roughly 2000 masl during the winter.
