Description

This grade-1 coffee comes to us from the south central region of Yirgachefe, specifically from the Aricha Washing Station in the small village of Edido. The fresh cherries are delivered the day they are harvested, and are first hand-sorted for ripeness and quality before being rinsed clean of dirt. Then, the good cherry is taken and spread onto raised beds to dry under the sun light for up to 25 days. After the coffee is dried with the cherry still attached, it is then milled to remove the husks and transported to the final processing warehouse (also known as natural processing).

This Ethiopian Heirloom lot is grown and harvested at roughly 1880 masl between October & January.
