Description

Cafe Tolima Suave is an association that represents 154 coffee producers in the municipality of Planadas, Tolima. The Association’s goal is to help producers to access the international market of specialty coffee and create a better quality of life for its members and their familes. With a focus on organic agriculture practices, the Cafe Tolima Suave is helping its members to develop higher quality coffees and creating awareness of conservancy and protection of natural resources. The Association reinvested in its four education programs in the community to promote reforestation, sustainable gardening, sensorial education in coffee, and entrepreneurial education for women.

These beans are harvested between April and August at 2,100 meters, fully washed and then laid out to sun-dry on patios.
