These organic Colombian beans are produced in central Colombia, just south of Bogota in the Huila region. With its high altitude, reliable temperature, and consistent rainy seasons, this area of Colombia is absolutely ideal for coffee production. This lot is produced by a large collective of farmers called Café Origen, who together produce around 680,000 kilograms of parchment each year.
This specialty coffee harvested between October and February at approximately 1,900 meters.
