Description

This unique microlot coffee is grown at 1330m in Matagalpa, central Nicaragua on Finca Las Mercedes. Las Mercedes is run by Roger and Isabel, who share a deep love for coffee. Don has a degree in agronomy and enjoys sharing his technical knowledge with farm visitors. Finca Las Mercedes has a clean water source that supplies the community with drinking water. They also have piping with tiny perforations underneath the groves of trees so that run-off from washing coffee is filtered by the earth instead of polluting streams.
