Description
This Sumatran coffee is decaffeinated using the water-process method. The beans are soaked in hot water to trap the flavor and the caffeine. Then, the caffeine is separated. The beans are reintroduced to the flavor-saturated water to place the taste and essence back into the coffee. Water-processing removes roughly 97% of the caffeine.
The water-processing method contains no chemicals whatsoever.
